About Nziraxa

I founded Nziraxa to invest independently in small UK businesses serving commercial real estate. I look for good businesses that may be too small to attract institutional investors, but could grow with new ownership, a clear strategy, better technology and proper attention.

So far, I have founded askChenai and invested in RealService and Experience Makers. My goal is to grow the portfolio. A small team based in Zimbabwe supports me with due diligence and with the day-to-day operation of Nziraxa.

About me

I’m Dr. Chenai Gondo, a British-Zimbabwean academic scientist turned management consultant turned business leader and entrepreneur.

Born and raised in Zimbabwe, I was educated in the US (University of Pennsylvania, Mount Holyoke College) and Switzerland (ETH Zurich), but have called the UK home for more than a decade. I bring a rare blend of global perspective, scientific precision, and business leadership, with a deep commitment to impact-driven business growth.

After advising Fortune 500 and FTSE 100 companies as a consultant at McKinsey & Company and holding executive leadership roles in both startups and publicly listed UK companies, I co-founded and scaled Domna, a UK-based proptech startup and private equity-backed group of real estate services businesses. I exited in under two years. I have since founded askChenai and invested in RealService and Experience Makers.

I have led and executed multi-million-pound mergers and acquisitions, transformed businesses through digital innovation, and driven growth across sectors including real estate, proptech, real estate services, pharmaceuticals, life sciences, medical devices, and infrastructure. I am an award-winning thought leader and have been recognised by the UK PropTech Association, EG Tech Awards, and Bisnow Women Leading Real Estate. I am a frequent lecturer at leading universities, including Oxford, Cambridge, and Reading, where I mentor the next generation of innovators.
